Christus Deathshead is a concept album.
Its subject matter is a conundrum of current global issues gelled together with a biblical revelations theme, advanced industrial military complex, far right christian involvement in global warfare, economics and politics.

The LP explores the parallels between the current middle eastern conflicts, crusades
of the middle ages and up to the present day and the righteous intolerance of the
conclusion within Revelations {GODS WAY, OR THE HIGHWAY}.It challenges the intolerance
of the book of revelations and those who take it serious, word for word, and use it as a
front to indoctrinate the ignorant into a frenzy of rape pillage and
intolerance in the name of Christ.

A truthful stab in the back of religious fundamentalism and its uses to secure
global dominance, and that right Mr Bush, and that right Mr Romsfield,
Backwater etc, etc.... the far right.

Biography:
Formed in late 99,Coldwar started out mixing equal parts hardcore punk
and extreme metal into an  angry incendiary assault. Over the years the band has
toured all over Ireland,the UK and have made several trips to Europe and the USA.
They have also played support to Fear Factory, SoulFly, Sepultura, EHG, Anthrax,
Hatebreed, Agnostic Front, Discharge, Converge, Exploited, GBH, Napalm Death
amongst many others plus a small Irish tour with Suffocation.
