Helevorn recently finished the recording of their 2nd studio album Forthcoming Displeasures” at Urban Studios in Palma de Mallorca .The album was produced by Jens Bogren and Johan Ornborg, also producers of bands like KATATONIA, OPETH, DRACONIAN, PARADISE LOST, etc. This album is an important step in their musical style, emphasizing a more intense and heavy sound, being more forceful, without a doubt it will be the Doomest work that HELEVORN has never done.

The promo campaign for Saudi Arabian Doomsters Grieving Age has begun .
After a long and gruelling process which took 5 years to complete, the 36 minutes of brutally dark death/doom which was mixed and mastered by legendary Swedish musician/producer Dan Swano, has finally been released.
The artwork/layout was handled by Aaron Stainthorpe.

DAWN OF TEARS(SP) - Dark Chamber Litanies CD
Lately we began the promo for the latest new and exciting band to hail from the Iberian Peninsula.
Dawn of Tears have made a lot of noise already in the underground with the first few reviews to come back to us here at HQ and according to many reviewers,this highclass take on melodic death metal should have record labels checking these guys out right now.
Dawn of Tears are proof that the often ignored far reaches of the central european metalscene have a wealth of talent that cannot be left ignored for much longer.

Other News
Liquid Graveyard have been busy adding the final touches to their debut CD titled 'On Evil Days'.
The album was recorded at Sadman Studios,Madrid and mastered at Finnvox,Finland by Mika Jussila.

The CD will be released by My Kingdom Music,Italy in September. There will be some samples on the bands myspace in the coming weeks.

It's been a while since our last update. The day after I got back from tour-managing the Mourning Beloveth tour, I had to track the bass for Liquid Graveyards album and then 5 days later,head out on the road again tour-managing the CAGE tour.
CAGE - The Science of Annihilation Tour
Right now we're in Regensburg and will be on our way to Prague in a few hours. The tour has been going great and we are currently taking bookings for the 2nd Strike leg to happen in September. Heres a few photos from the Frankfurt show 2 days ago.

Rooted in the musical vein of the early 90s, Ophis’ music maintains an undeniable actuality and an authentic atmosphere of despair and rage. From the very beginning, the band forged their musical vision on this path, far beyond any mainstream or commercial approach.

Era Vulgaris recently played their first gig in the UK after their relocation to London earlier in the year. With 2 new members taking their position on stage and with a new song aired also they were well received by the audience present. The band is currently in pre-production for their new album and there will be a 2 track promo recorded for labels/press in the coming weeks

The guys of Graveyard Dirt are currently in writing mode and will be ready to record their debut album in the coming months.

Ground of Ruin are entering the studio at the end of the month to record an Ep. More news later. 

Haieeta are in writing mode with plans for a new album to be recorded towards the end of 2008.

Jack Frost - The gloom rock bastards have found a new home in Silverdust Records,Germany. The new album “My Own Private Hell” will be released in August. The albums concept tells us stories of being caught in the twilight zone between boredom, drinking, ex-girlfriends and what others consider normal life. Autobiographical? not always. authentic? absolutely.

Liquid Graveyard - With the ‘Criministers’ demo mixed/mastered and ready to send to labels,everything remains on schedule for the band to record and release its debut album at the end of the year.
The band uploaded the track ‘1760’ to their Myspace site earlier this week.

Worn out from the recent month-long tour and very successful tour of Europe in April, Mar de Grises are back at home resting and getting their lives back to normal. Recent news is that they will be regrouping in the coming weeks to discuss future plans and get back to writing the follow up to the very successful ‘Draining the Waterheart’ CD.

Mass Extinction recently released ‘Creations Undoing’ on Underground Movement has got the attention of many Thrash fanatics worldwide and some are wondering why these guys didn’t get a first class ticket during the recent Tharsh revival. Who knows but with high review scores and comments like
“"Here's another band to add to the list of up and coming young thrashers. Mass Extinction hail from Dublin and the three professionally executed tracks on this EP reveal why Gary Holt of Exodus has joined the queue to produce a full length album for them.

A new album from Mournful Congregation on the way and a long European tour scheduled for April/May 2009. More news as we get it.

Mourning Beloveth´s new album ‘A Disease for the Ages’ has garnered some amazing reviews and placed very highly in soundcheck charts/polls etc all across Europe and the Usa. Some festival appearances and short tours are on the way for the end of 2008 with more extensive touring and promising tour supports to be announced soon.

Poema Arcanvs - A full album of demo material is currently being sent around to labels with the hope that someone will release it by the end of the year.

Piledriver - The longawaited return to the live scene for the sickest Canadian group ever will hit the European shores in early 2009. The band is currently recording ‘The Metal Manifesto’ which will be the follow up to their last release ‘Stay Ugly’ in 1986. The list of proposed European festival appearances for next year is growing steadily so prepare for the filth!

Saturnus has recently been confirmed as the main support to VOLBEAT at all Danish shows on their upcoming tour. The songwriting has also begun for the follow-up to the successful last release ‘Veronika Decides To Die’ with no plans on a release date as of yet.

Thurisaz - Following successful participation on the recent Ethereal Session Tour with Saturnus & Mar de Grises and the recent Irish tour, the band have been busy once again preparing for some more show shows at home.
They are also in writing mode with plans to record in the coming months.

The Foreshadowing were recently confirmed to play at this years MAYDAY Rock Fest in Poland 4th Oct. The band profile has been steadily growing and high sales of their debut ‘Days of Nothing’ on Candlelight(Uk). The band will be playing some more shows in Germany/Slovakia and Czech Rep to coincide with their Polish date.
