LONG OVERDUE WEBSITE UPDATE
It's been a while since we've had time to get any news up.
The MADRID IS THE DARK festival came and went and very nearly came to being cancelled.
Despite the very shitty last minute problems that came up as regards the venue,it went ahead and we managed to keep the bar as high as in previous years as regards the quality of the bands playing. The venue was not our 1st choice and we didn't comprehend it ever being a 3rd one.
We hope that this years festival will happen and have as healthy a bill as in the past with no last minute scares.
A big thank you to all the bands,the festival crew and of course to those who came to the festival from near and afar.
To all of those closer to home in Madrid who decided against it because of their small mindedness and ignorance and of course for being false metallers, well.........

With things back to normal here for a while, we're rebuilding the website and working hard on restructuring the promo campaign management.
Any/all bands interested please get in touch and lwet us know what you'd like to work on with us.

We will have news soon on another band that have lately been signed to a label as a result of one of our campaigns

LATEST NEWS: MADRID IS THE DARK III
It seems that the bad luck that has plagued the third edition of Madrid is the dark so far, has struck once again.
After putting all our new hopes into the Sala Cats, at the last hour we have received news that the infrastructure of the venue cannot make the festival happen.

The festival will now be celebrated in the Sala Penelope located at C/ Hilarion, (Metro Moncloa, Arguelles).
This venue is only about 10-12 minutes walking from the Sala Cats. The capacity of the venue is similar than previously so there is no need for concern as regards there being enough room.

LOCATION

It will be possible to be leave and re-enter the venue as before and there will be special drink offers exclusively for this festival.

MADRID IS THE DARK Festival - CHANGE OF VENUE
Sala Cats is located in the district of Moncloa, within walking distance to metro Islas Filipinas and close to Bajos de Arguelles.Exiting and re-entering the venue will be permitted also.

It’s now very close to the festival and this is not something we would have liked to have happened but we are very content with the change of venue and will come out of it the better of it all.

Sincere apologies for any damage or trouble that this late change of venue may have caused anyone.

SATURNUS(Denmark)

One of the most inspiring and widely recognised names in the melancholic doom metal genre started way back in 1991.
Since then they have released 3 albums and an ep. A slow output some might think but with each one standing beside itself as a monumental release of emotional and crashing doom metal,one cannot judge or cast a weary eye.The band have just finished a short tour behind the iron curtain which brought them to Moldova, Ukraine, Russia and Belarus which they put it themselves as " exceeding well and above  all our expectations with full houses everywhere ".

Some words from Thomas, Vocals.
“Saturnus has been through a major transition due to a necessary line-up change arising from different views on how things needed to be
run. This put the brakes on the bands progression for so long that eventually something had to break or otherwise we would inevitably have split up.
We love playing live whenever we can and right now we want to do it more than ever to follow on and raise our profile once again to echo the success of our last album ‘Veronica Decides to Die’ and previous efforts.The new line-up is just perfect. All the things I (Thomas) have been looking for in musicians has been delivered perfectly; the creativity, the lust for playing live, the understanding of the universe of  Saturnus and the way to compose is just perfect.

I could not wish for better.

So now the future lies open for Saturnus.
We need a record label to fully get the ship back out to sea again, and believe me we are hungry like never before.
